The Didache |
DIDACHE (dee-da-ke), a Greek word meaning Teaching or Instruction
The Didache is a very ancient, possibly First Century, Christian document. It describes the ethical paths to life and death in general terms, then focuses on spiritual life in an age when evangelists and prophets still roamed the earth. The Didascalia and Apostolic Constitutions are in the opinion of most scholars later expansions of the Didache. Hoole translation. --- SPL
